Episode 21: 2004 Hess Artezin Zinfandel

“Art isn’t in,” our Grapedonk said. “Have you seen all the trash cans people are piling up and splattering guano all over and calling art these days.” He eyed the bottle suspiciously, and in this case, his suspicions were right.

“Pretty blah, not awful,” was the overall impression on opening the bottle. Other than a bit of pepper and light fruit, it’s not a wine to get really excited about. Especially considering the price.

We paid $15.99 for this wine. Buy it now at BevMo.
