Episode 27: 47 lb Rooster Cabernet Sauvignon

This “great big cock” may not have a vintage, and may smell like “rusty water and bell peppers” when you first open it, but overall, this was a solid wine. Surprisingly good for the price, you won’t be disappointed if you decide to put your lips on this big cock. “Definitely better than buying a six-pack of some bullshit-ass beer,” the Grapedonk says.

We paid $5.99 for this wine. Buy it now at BevMo.

The younger the better for this one, great buy!

I agree – good wine for the price. The Rex Goliath Pinot Grigio is supposed to be good, too.

  4. Casey Says:

Their Pinot Noir is their best wine – super velvety not even for the price. Also try their Chardonay.

  5. Carol Says:

Just a follow-up. Tried the Rex Pinot Grigio last night and it was awful. It tasted like you just bit into a lemon seed. Not reccomended.
