Episode 62: 2005 Goats Du Roam White
“Goats do roam . . . and they eliminate anything in the yard that is vertical and green,” according to our Grapedonk. He had a fun time with the label, which said the grapes were picked by the goats. “If goats can pick your wine, I don’t want to hear anything from any of you,” he said, perhaps referring to his qualifications, or lack thereof.
And it did smell like “goat piss,” and it had a taste somewhat reminiscent of Tupperware and a moldy sink sponge. After farting, some citrus rind showed up, but, in the end, Grapedonk said, “Buy beer.”
We paid $8.99. Buy this wine at Ancona’s.
