Episode 63: 2003 KitFox Foxy Red

We had the white fox, now we have the red fox, but the gray fox that the Grapedonk keeps feeding didn’t make an appearance in his backyard. But that’s about the only bad news here. “That is surprisingly mellow for straight out the bottle,” the Grapedonk said.

Lots of berry flavors here, but it’s not “Happy skipping throwing flowers in the air,” sweet, according to the Grapedonk. Combined with well-balanced grip, and a great aroma “like pancakes and waffles and shit,” this is a helluva wine from a new vineyard.
