Episode 66: 2005 Donati Pinot Blanc

“Smells pretty good,” Grapedonk said, on sticking his nose in the bottle. But, “After you stuck your nose in there, it’s not like anyone else would want to drink it, so more for you.” This was a solid white wine straight out of the gate, no weirdness, no wank, no garden hose, and only a small bit of gerbil in it.

And it only got better, Kudos to Donati for sending us this wine. Grapedonk doesn’t know what he drinks when he gets it, so Donati is one of the bravest wineries out there.

    This is a good wine. But it’s a bit sweet. This is a better summertime review.
