After a brief episode of cork-throwing, Grapedonk said, “This smells like blacktop!” On tasting, he jumped and said, “Wow! This is a loud sonofabitch!” Not thrilled with the aftertaste, Grapedonk compared the taste to a crusty battery tray. Don’t try that one at home.
But after “pinching a loaf,” this wine improved quite a bit. Battery tray turned to cucumber, and the whole thing had mellowed. “Sweet, spice, leather-barrelly-woody-thing, with a spicy tannin finish,” sez the Donk.

I’ve had the pleasure of this tasty bottle quite a few times. Has this jammy flavor, a little spice, and a nice a.b.v. for the buzz factor. Love it!
